I wonder if anyone can help me?

Earlier this year I purchased two Perfect blades from Achim Rendler: a Tachi and a Smart. The idea was to experiment with different LP rubbers on my backhand and change my playing style because this has become a bit too predictable. Most people’s rubber choice, Dtecs, doesn’t work for me, so the experiment continues. I was surprised at how different these two blades are, and the purpose of this post is to ask if anyone can comment on the different construction, particularly the different woods used on the backhand.

I thought that both blades had a medial layer of balsa, but I could be wrong. I have no idea what is used for the core or the outer. The Tachi is also a lot thicker. Can anyone provide some info - I’m thinking about going to Neubauer rubber (Number 1 or Viper) but would like to know about the different blade construction before spending more money on rubber!

Many thanks :)

Twiddler I have used both the Tachi & now I use the Smart. If the Dtecs didn’t work for you then you will probably find the Viper similar as I’ve successfully used firstly the Dtecs OX on the Smart & am now using the Viper OX which I find quite similar to the Dtecs only better. The Viper, which is slower gives me more control & causes my opposition quite a lot of confusion. I'm not sure about these rubbers on the Tachi as I didn't use any of them on it. The Number 1 I can’t comment on as I’ve haven’t tried that rubber. I hope that is helpful. :?:

Your Tachi is thicker than your Smart? Surely that's not the standard model. Tachi is supposed to be around 9mm, Smart around 12mm.

Tachi, forehand conventional and backhand active designed forehand game coverings = Preferably in spinless block counter shot game, the game coverings should be forehand have a hardness of 42 °, with mainly active Spinplay to backhand long pimple for example it can also be soft, because the Tachi the game coverings not comes into action in passive block. The coating thickness of the forehand should not exceed 2.1 mm.

Smart, 40 + ball designed, otherwise similar to Tachi, forehand and backhand conventionally designed active, the wood is much softer than the Tachi in the surface and must therefore be equipped with medium sponge curing

Rapier 44 designed on both sides with konventional mini catapult behavior in actively played balls, very soft structure, the prime timber for Grass D-Tec ox in black because you can shoot easily with the knobs. is good races for Combined
in offensive defenders or offensive players in Combination with Grass D-Tec = Donic Coppa X1 Gold, 45 ° in 1.8 mm or Armstrong Hikary SR 7, 55 ° in 1.0 to 1.5 mm or Victas 401, 49.5 ° in 1.5 mm; for all other long pimple is best of the Joola explode in 1.8 mm, 1.8 mm in Tibhar MSP, Neubauer Goliath Speed in 1.5 mm or Domination speed in 1.5 mm to have a spinless shot.

Who locks on the topspin or richly varied Topspinplay rearing, who can also play soft offensive rubbers.
