I think the plastic tray looks OK, but I find it an unnecessary use of plastic, in a world which uses too much plastic anyway.

BTW, I loaned my bat (DHS301 with GTX and EL-S) to a friend who plays a much higher league level than I. He won 2 matches so far with it. He is more interested in the blade than the rubber though.

I initially used it on BH because i had H3 Nat BS on my forehand, and had to justify the cost of that. In reality, I can quite happily use on FH and BH. Ultimately the H3 is more capable, but relative to cost, the Loki is a bargain.

Incidentally, I think the "softness" I initially perceived is more down to the topsheet than the sponge itself.

I have been using the 301/H3/GTX for some time now, without actually wanting anything else, so that must indicate something. Although, I do get very tired sometimes (diabetic), and then slip over to the Viscaria/Tenergy combo for a rest.

Came across this, by the way:

This seems to be one of the cheaper "good" pre-mades out there. The rubber is 158-003 (TIII Paragon). You also get a nice racket case with Wang Hao's signature on it.

A strangely good price. the T 3 rubbers sell for nearly 2 times this each.
