My backhand rubber is Donic Baracuda. From forehand i want good attacking posibilities and very solid blocks.

FH: 802 OX
BH: DHS C8 OX
Could you tell us a bit more about your experience? What level do you play at? How long have you been using short pips? If not long, what were you using before? Do you have a coach, or have access to high quality training, or strong training partners? Do you have any recent video footage of you playing attacking FH shots?

Abstract answers to abstract questions will tend to be a combination of the answerer's personal bias / preferences, and experiences. With more information about you, the various SP players might be able to give you more focussed answers.

Apologies if you're already answered this elsewhere.

For what it's worth, any moderately fast, all-wood blade will be fine. 7-ply seems to be very commonly recommended, and is what I use and have used, but that's not a hard and fast rule.

So i understand that stiffer blades are better for short pips, right ?
