The blade I have is a prototype of the XIOM Feel ZX3. It was a gift from XIOM. The outer veneer is made of 250 year old Kiso Hinoki. Maybe they simply shaved they tree and didn't commit tree murder to create it.

It's definitely an upgrade on the Hayabusa ZXi I was previously using. It's slightly faster, with more spin, medium rigidity, slightly higher throw angel, but retains the excellent control of the Haybusa ZXi. We have all 8 of the feel series in stock. Pictures are on our Website, shop and Facebook together with XIOM provided descriptions of each blade within the marketing blurb.

Has anyone tried out the new series and compared it to the older series which are considerably less costly?

Blade: Xiom Offensive S
FH: DHS Hurricane 3 Neo
BH: DHS Hurricane 3-50
So for the blades with carbon and 5 ply wood, do we know for sure which ones are outer layer and which ones inner?

Info I could gather but not confirm:

Zx3: outer
Zx2: inner?
Zx1: inner?
SX: ?
AX: outer?

I wrote to Xiom asking specific information about wood composition and weight but I never received a reply. For me, too much wiggle room and different players may be receiving different blades. I just don't trust manufacturers who are explicit in what they are selling especially at this price point.

Tonight a bought a second hand as new Xiom ZX3 blade with a black sheet of the new Xiom Omega V11 Europe rubber for a very low bargain price - i better not say how low!

I originally tried it with a red Adidas rubber on the backhand but the ball wasn't gripping too good on my brush loop.

I changed the Adidas rubber and put my Skyline 3-60 red rubber on and my backhand loop was heaps more consistent.

The blade itself - only used it for around 3 hours.

Similar if a tiny bit slower than the ZXi Hayabusa.

It feels crazy solid though with zero vibration. Quiet stiff.

Despite its super solid and stiff feel it spins the ball a lot better than the ZXi Hayabusa.

Downside - my flat forehand hit was nowhere near as flat as with the ZXi Hayabusa.

Feel is different too. A little muffled though still nice. Crazy solid a bit like a Sardius blade.

Never spun the ball so much on my forehand with this blade before.

Will get back after i play a few competitive matches.

Sure does feel like a very fast, controllable blade offering huge spin.

Here's a review of the Omega V 11 Europe rubber - its has the highest rating of 9.6 for spin.
