Hi,

what are the differences between the old and the new version?

Is there just the difference in headsize?
I assume that the new one feels slightly stiffer and faster. Am I right?

Or did they also changed the handle size and/or the veneer thicknesses?

Best regards
Andi

Probably noone has played both back to back.

Being smaller head, the new one presumably a little bit stiffer. Not necessarily faster. Average weight would presumably a little less on the new version because of the smaller head size, but you could ask to get heavier one when buying. The whole setup blade would also lessened because of the smaller head size thus a little less rubbers used also.

You wonder why, if they came up with a new version with a smaller head, they didn't call the new one the Hurricane Long 6.

One guy on our local forum sells 2017 version due to short handle. He said that it was just 98mm long. :o

I didn't measure and compared both handles but didn't feel anything unusual with both/either of them.
