I am just wondering |( , how much does it cost to manufacture a carbon blade or any blade to that matter. I think the profit is high given the selling price in most locations.

No doubt about that. Butterfly makes a good amount of cash on each blade. At least in Japan they tend to take pride in the work and you are less likely to end up with a poor blade.
