Is any one able to give short summary of what they thought of the bkade. Sounds like a Joola air carbon competitor for half the price. Might order one if they can do one in 70-72 gm range and try gewo return drive 1.9 on fh and short/ medium pips 1.5 on bh.

Hello,

The review was in German, and without subs .. So, pretty much useless for me ..

I'd like some real-world feedback/review of this blade, from someone who's played with it, long-term ...

Also, anyone playing with Long Pips, on it ?

Apparently not available on AliExpress (as yet).

Seems to be a $30-40 blade, some European vendors have it. Not tabletennis11 though. It's definitely in my weight range.

Yep.. The low-weight is surely one of the factors, why this blade is appealing to me ...

From what I've heard/read, this blade was designed by Sanwei in collaboration with Spinfactory.de, primarily for the European market. Which is (perhaps) why it's not available on AliExpress..

Ah... it's a semi-OEM deal. A "specially ordered product", much like Tibhar MX-K.

It's lightweight because it's a balsa blade, so it'll be interesting if it's got the usual balsa drawbacks.

Here's what it looks like:

and it's available for sale at, among other places:

Yes.. Yes.. already went through all these links, before starting this thread ... What I'm looking for is, feedback/inputs/opinion from someone who's been playing/played with it for a while ... The blade is not exactly cheap for me to just buy it, and then find-out how it is ..

Sure, but since I went to all the trouble to look it up myself, no sense in NOT posting the photos and links. Someone else might find them interesting/useful. Anyhow.. I suppose eventually someone will actually post a review. And there won't be any until someone does get one and try it, and it might take a while. Heck, I'd do it, except for the reason you just stated..

Aha...!!! It's in the 2020 Sanwei catalog... apparently Hinoki face plies, and unidirectional carbon. Strangely no mention of balsa.

So is the Fextra (and there's also a 5 ply hinoki faced Fextra Allround):

This makes me hopeful these will show up on AliExpress eventually.

One thing that's weird about this catalog - it's ALL English.

I can confirm that in real life the products are beautiful too (I have 2 pcs of Sanwei Dynamo myself).

Had another look at the 2020 catalog. They've made some additions since I looked last, and took away at least one page. There's a new Gear Hyper rubber (at least, I don't remember it from last time) and the page on which the "new M8" was on seems to be gone. It seems to be a work in progress. You'll also notice it's actually the "International Product Catalog" - which explains why it's all in English. And which bodes badly for the Feather Carbon and possibly other blades (Fextra 5 ply anyone?) appearing on AliExpress in the future (it may, indeed, be a Europe-only product, as speculated earlier).
