Hi,

i'm a player with a low level : E4 in Belgium, 750 points in france and 100 points in england.

I play with a 402 limber in Fh and a 401 in Bh, my blade : timo boll control
My game is push, hit and block on Bh and on Fh :pushs, block , and sometime hit and top

My question : a innershield layer zlf is good for my game or it's too flexible and i need a blade with more hardness and stifness???

Thank you for answers

PS: sorry for my english

I'm not sure exactly what your "low level" is, but I think that you probably won't get much (if any) benefit from such a (expensive) blade. If you're still developing your game, a all-round wooden blade is perfectly suitable and possibly better for you instead of a composite blade.

I use the Innershield, and it's a nice blade... but I got it very cheap. Definitely not worth full price.

Plenty of other blades out there which will do an almost identical job.

innershield is very flexible and has good dampening abilities. it is not a blade for an aggressive blocker/hit. it's for chopping and looping, unless you aim for a slow and controlled style of blocking.

Good decision. At your current level, equipment isn't going to bring you up in rank. Time, Patience and practice will help ensure that you go up in rank. A good coach helps loads as well ;)
