Blade: 729 C-5 FL
FH: 729 Super FX Max
BH: DHS H3 Neo 2.15
So I was at my local table tennis club, talking with a few people, and one person kindly offered his racket to me so that I could take it for a test run. After playing a couple rallies, I realized that it was AMAZING. It had 2 carbon plies, so the weight was amazing, like a feather, and the handle was comfortable in relation to the position of the rubbers and the shape of the blade's head. In short, I needed to know what blade it was, so like any other normal human being, I looked at the handle. "Pro Top Champion". Vague. I couldn't tell the brand from the model. So I decided to register here (1st post B.T.W.) to see if you guys had any information on whether they were discontinued, or where I could buy one. To restate: The blade handle looked like one from one of those old DHS 032 blades. (The blade was C-Pen F.Y.I.). It was however a little darker in color, and also had a glass panel with letters inside that read "Pro Top Champion". It had 2 carbon plies, but I'm not sure how many wood plies. If this helps for any of you real detectives out there, the rubber used was 1 sheet of red DHS Kuang Biao (Hurricane) 2, in what appeared to be about 2mm thickness, and one sheet of black Friendship 729 755 Long pips out, in what I estimated to be in the 0.5-1mm sponge thickness range. If you guys could find absolutely any information on this blade, it would be a life saver, as I've never felt a blade so comfortable and welcoming to the hand.
