Among Aria, Fuga and Jazz. I prefer Jazz because it has more compact head size.
But after trying Amadeus, I like it better than Jazz. It has more consistent feel, because Jazz construction is more flexible.
Although I can feel the vibration when I hit the ball without rubber on the blade, but when I put the rubber on, the vibration seems disappear a lot.
Compared to H-king which has the most feel, then Violin, followed by Acoustic among wood blades.
I put H3P 39 deg and Solcion on Amadeus, the rubber is cut on bigger head size, after putting it on, the blade feel balanced, not head heavy or handle heavy.
Looping with amadeus is very good, very consistent. The speed is slower than acoustic a bit. Blocking is very easy and consistent.
A good alternative choice all wood blades with good control and decent speed playing close to table.

Wow, very detailed analysis Peter, impressive!

Do you have any idea what it is that gives the h-king the most feel? There appears to be very little information on this...

Cheers!

Well I think because of the wood construction and it's thickness which is very thin. From all wood blades I've tried so far, H-king has the most vibration, something like thonk-thonk sound when you hit it. It vibrates even more than Korbel.
I prefer Violin feel because it has less vibration n more solid feel when you smash full power.

Fair enough, thanks for that!

I think vibration is always a tricky one, as some people like it and interpret it as extra feel and control, and other don't like. Then there is excessive vibration which is like a resonance of the blade, which gives you nothing...

Exactly. A short kind of vibration is helpful to understand how to correct next motion for some people, but others dislike that sensation (maybe those more visualistic???). I think, a great part is in our heads :D .

Not yet.. Still fiddling with Fuga, and haven't started with Jazz just yet...
Still sticking with my HK & 3008...

If you want more info about amadeus, i'll point you to GraemeW, he used maximus for over a year before (and control/stradi too i think but prefer maximus) and had recently switched from maximus to amadeus. He's staying with amadeus...

The EJ virus strikes again...just ordered an Amadeus...it sounds like an awesome blade. I've had a hard time finding a handle that feels good to me and this one might be the trick. Of course I wouldn't have got it just for the handle, but hopefully that will be a nice extra. Going to try Neo H3 fh and Vega Euro bh.

By the way, do you like the handle very much? :D
It is the result of my effort for two years. (I don't remember if I already mentioned the same thing in this forum or not.)

Just got my Amadeus and I love the flared handle. Every other blade I've tried I seem to always feel like I have to manipulate the handle to get it where I like it to be and have problems with the bat getting loose. With the Amadeus I can just grab it and it seems to fit in my hand right where I want it to be every time. It is wider than other handles and seems more square in as much as the shape fits perfectly to the shape of my knuckles. I only got to use it for a few hours so far but I think the Xiom Amadeus is a keeper! :)

It seems that the Amadeus and Xiom's other "compact" size blades have been discontinued. These blades are no longer shown in their most recent catalog. As far as I could tell, all their shakehand blades are now standard "Butterfly size" except for a few defensive blades.
