Blade: Nittaku ANV WN
FH: DHS 652 1,8 red
BH: Yinhe Pluto 1,0 black
Who plays still with this blades? Or why not?
Such 7ply blades offer high speed with moderate catapult and stiffness by excellent control for speed.
I think this parameters are essentiel in the plastic ball era.
Or for short pimple play..
Any suggestions?

Alex

I used to have one of these. Thick, heavy, stiff, and fast. Before composites, they were amongst the fastest available and one of few purposely made above 7mm thick. I heard from Chinese locals that they used blood-based adhesive to further increase the blade stiffness.

IMO given the limited technology back then, 08 was as fast as they can make but modern composites will offer all the advantages while being lighter, thinner and thus more comfortable. Every bit as fast.
