I hear that the Butterfly Joo Saehyuk blade is discontinued, which might upset few people here as it's quite popular among choppers. :(

I'm not sure why it's discontinued, it may be related to Joo officially retiring, or perhaps they'll bring it out under the name of another chopper they're going to sponsor?

They haven't discontinued blades like Korbel or Primorac, and these players retired a few years ago. ;)

This really pisses me off, must be some crazy sabermetric decision.

I don't think they ever announce what blades they discontinue.

I have just bought a JSH blade, largely from curiosity, but with a feeling that it might just vanish and that would remove the option for me. It's a heavy blade, but as used, quite light (Ox BH).

I put some old H3 on the FH and a Sword Scylla LP Ox on the BH. I know this is not a classic setup. But, I find it quite good to play with. I have now managed a reasonable chopping style on both hands, which amazes me, and can attack quite hard on the FH, which amazes the opponent. I can beat some people, although they tend to be the same people I was beating before, but hey. What it has taught me is that I can chop on both hands with inverted if needed, and this is a useful skill.
