Achim,

I can also test Xiom Musa 1.8 mm on the backhand. I have an unused rubber. Until 1.5 years ago I played with inverted (23 years) on the backhand, so testing a normal rubber at the backhand will not be that great problem.

Well, if you read the text in noppentest.de, it quickly becomes clear that I have never played the M 3 in its current form, but only had it tested.

There was this reason for it

Many of my customers have wondered about my poor delivery conditions in 2018 and perhaps were also very annoyed.
At the end of July this year I had to have a difficult operation carried out at the Medical University of Hanover, which was caused by weak wound healing.
Afterwards I was urgently advised to interrupt my business work for at least 4-6 weeks in order not to endanger the healing process.
Unfortunately there were 8 weeks which I had to interrupt. Also my grief for my mother is still there after 6 months, because obviously nobody could support or replace me in the care of my mother, in the time when I myself needed help from the outside. So a sepsis in my mother was simply overlooked because an important blood test was delayed until it was too late for her.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my customers at home and abroad for their understanding that many of them had to wait longer for their orders this year due to force majeure.

The production times after receipt of order were now reset to normal construction times between 10-14 days. Now I am fully operational again to fulfill your individual wishes. Thank you very much, Achim Rendler.

Yesterday, I played for the first time in my life with long pimples (on the M3 Select; Cropcircles OX) (unless one time 10 minutes with Cropcircles OX at Rapier 44). I can not say much about it, because I don't really master the long pimples technique. I play an active style, and I can say it worked very well. Hitting back to the forehand when receiving a (not to fast) topspin created a very difficult ball for the opponent. The balls cames nearly never back... I was also able to lift the balls and to chopblock. The disturbance with the cropcircles was much higher then with my medium pimples Keiler, but the speed was less. When I look to the total picture, I can say my game with the cropcircles was allready nearly as good as with the Keiler, even I never played with long pimples before. A very nice experience!
At this forum and at noppentest, I sometimes read that players with Re-impact blades play with Kamikaze OX. Guido Heun recommended the Rebellion for an attacking style. Does anyone has tested both (on Re-impact frames)?

When I look to the forehand of the M3 Select in comparison with the Preference, my impression is that you need to give more power (make a more forward arm movement close to the table) with the M3 Select while playing topspin in comparison with the Preference, but that the control when executing those powerful topspins, is better with the M3 Select then with the Preference. Maybe with the Preference it is easier to do slower spins (you don't need to give as much power by your own).
The throw of the ball with the Preference looks higher and shorter for me (softer feeling), the throw with the M3 Select lower and the topspins comes more at the end of the table (harder feeling; more foreward movement of the arm needed and possible, but with power you can make more speed and spin then with the Preference).

For anyone considering getting these Re-Impact blades, I just wanted to put in my own plug for Achim's wonderful customer service. After my Turbo blade broke during play (the handle simply came off) -- which is the first time anything like this has ever happened with a Re-Impact blade, and I've used a bunch of them over the years and found them to be invariably very well made -- I contacted Achim, and he not only sent me a free replacement but also customized the handle. I thought that was a really wonderful gesture by someone who stands behind the excellent blades he manufactures.

Curious whether these blades -- the new Turbo 82 and the M3 Select -- are available somewhere yet or whether they're still in testing mode. Anyone know?

Have a look at the noppen-test .Dr web site. Lots of reviews from testers on the new blades plus posts from Achim

Yeah, I saw some of those, but I'm still not sure where I can actually buy these blades. Are they only available for testing, or are they now available for sale?

My marketing is unfortunately not so fast. Each of these models is already available.

You can order these woods on special request. You can order the new Tachi, the new Tachi Plus for the ABS-Ball via the onlinesite or at Luna. Only the new version will be delivered.
