I used to play double inverted defense too(about a 2 years ago). It was before my coach realised I was better with defense than with attack. I had an off setup back then. I used the stiga calibra on fh and the yasaka mark v on bh on the stiga all round classic wrb.

If u really want to play double inverted defense(cuz lp defense is way more easier and controllable), I recommend u to use yasaka mark v on bh. It seems like a beginner's rubber but provides a lot of spin and control and also is not so slow. It does deteriorate after short periods of time (after about 3-4 months) but is also very cheap... :)

Nah, I use Xiom Vega Europe in 1.8mm on the BH. It's perfect!

Yeah, I have (head reduced) 980 and it's quite different from JSH. Joola Chen Weixing blade is "little less fast and not so stiff" compared to JSH.

My view on this when it comes to speed:
Diode V > JSH > VKM > 980 (I've got 980XX but I think is the same as the standard 980)

The jump between the JSH and VKM is quite dramatic when looping. I normally have issues with T05 but can quite safely loop with T05 max on the VKM but the balls quite often fly 20-30cm too long with the JSH.

Haven't tried the Joola blade is they're quite hard to get locally here.

I have the JSH and Diode V at the same weight (94g) and my perception is that the Diode has a bit more flex which for me results in a much faster FH inverted side. Especially when looping at max effort.

The JSH is a (tiny) bit faster when chopping which to me is a bad thing as I loose control.

They're quite similar blades.
