hey Vali, I had a Galaxy N-10 for 6 months. Billed as OFF+ wood blade, but felt more like OFF - or ALL + to me. Lot of blade for the money.

Hello der_echte , N-11 is different than rest of teh N-series and yes is a repackaging of the 960 blade.

Hey Vali, have you played the N-11 (or 960)? I have an N-9 and while its not bad for its price, I could never use it as a serious blade. The consistency and feel of quality is just not there for me.

I played once with 960 + Nimbus Soft. Was a very good combination, played awesome. I sold the blade. Now I am sticking with Tube Aluminium - I think this is my final blade though..

N-11 (Galaxy 960) is a 5 ply very much like Galaxy 896 except the outer ply which makes the 960 a little harder and stiffer than 896. I think because is stiffer is more suitable for a game near table than 896.

Blade: Donic Waldner Senso V1
FH: Donic Baracuda Big Slam
BH: Victas Triple Regular
Just bought one of these from ooakshop. Haven't played with it yet but really like the feel of it. Despite what iksander has said, I really like the color of the handle. Is also plenty thick enough, and thicker than my Appelgren allplay and the Avalox Avx v1 I ordered at the same time. The finish is nice, not too woody like the swedish bats but not really smooth and glossy like the Donic exclusives. I'd say about right. The shoulders seem to be good in that they don't come down too far, allowing your hand to get right up the handle. I'd not go as far as to say they are high but no worse than medium. The overall finish of the blade was very good and far better than what I would expect from one of the cheapest around.

Mine weighed in at 78grams with sealer on it so nice and light.

I've put a couple of rubbers on which have come off other bats and have a red Palio Cj80000 36-38 and a black Galaxy venus. I actually got this bat as a loner for others to use rather than one of my good ones but I quite like it so I'll see how it plays and let you know.

Had a hit with this today. Played ok. Had a little more vibration than what I'm used to with my Donic Appelgren Allplay and Stiga Allround Evolution. It also felt a bit harder and felt the contract with the blade more but despite this, it still played quote slow and I'd say perhaps a bit slower than the evolution. Overall I'd say it didn't feel quite as nice to play with as the other two however is also less then half the price. This blade fine for a beginner and intermediate player and is well worth the money so if you are looking for a Chinese allround blade, this one is definately with a look.

This is the blade I really like. It's like a 896 except the face ply (and the ply inside of that) is meranti (the 896, I think, uses paulownia as the face ply and meranti as the ply inside that). (N11 on the left, 896 on the right.)

Yeah, I think the handle's ugly - note that Yinhe uses the same handle on it's pre-mades.. :P

Don't know about "half the price" - more like a quarter of the price! The Allround Classic will cost me something like $46, you can pick up a N11 on ebay (from Eacheng) for $11 or $12, shipping included.

I don't think you can compare prices local compared to overseas, not really apples with apples. Locally it is half but I know it's less if using Eacheng.

True, locally you can get it immediately. The Stigas are probably cheaper there, too (I'm getting mine locally since it would cost a lot to ship one in from Europe or the US).

Old topic but I couldn't resist brother iskandar's LOL stickers everytime he mentions this blade. Gonna test it with TG3neo FH and .6mm 979 pips. I will try to put into attention its chopping capabilities with sponged and 0X LPs. Gratitude is reserved until testing results are out

The bad news is the blade's been replaced with the N11s. Don't actually have one in hand yet (it's on the way) so I can't tell how different it is, but I do know two things:

1) It's heavier. I asked Eacheng to send me one as close to 80g as possible (all of my N11 blades are around 80g). They wrote back, the lightest one is 86g. I asked them to send that. It's listed as 89g +/- 5g on the website. Ouch. If I recall correctly the N11 was listed at 80g +/- 2g.

2) It's marked "OFFENSIVE" on the front. The N11 was marked "ALLROUND". To be fair, the N11 was a fair amount faster than a lot of ALL blades.

On the good side, it doesn't seem to have gotten any fatter and the top ply is still meranti.
