1) some blades boast of hollow handles...now the benefit of this seems clear (lighter blades) but does it also have any costs?

2) aside from the normal straight and flared handles, I've seen reference to 'anatomical' handles...I assume this means handles with grooves for each finger...am I correct? I guess such racquets are more comfortable to hold but would be harder to 'tweedle'.

The other benefit (if you consider it is one) is the head is heavier. In my book, it's not. Others may see differently. I think they're also supposed to have less vibration too, but YMMV.

The costs are normally the same, or maybe a couple of dollars more. Stiga is the one to look at here, as they make WRB and nonWRB versions of some of their blades.

No. Anatomical is more or less a flare with a bulge in the centre.
Whether or not they are more comfortable is up to you. They're not anatomical to my hand anyway...
