I bought this rubber out of curiosity while re-ordering some Hurricane II Neo, which at the time I had decided was a FH rubber I could finally settle down with. This sheet was purchased from FastPaddle.com and its package had the sponge hardness labeling (39*, iirc).

Compared to H2 Neo, TG3 Neo is firmer, faster, crisper, louder, higher throw, spinnier, and easier to use. It's semi-tacky. Spin on serve may be the highest of any inverted rubber I've used, including H2 Neo, Tenergy 25, and Blitz. But what really got my attention with Skyline was the control it provides. For the first time ever I'm able to swing with full power with an inverted rubber that's also fast enough to be offensive on punch drives and blocks. Loops with TG3 Neo have tight arcs so finding the table is easy. But it also flat hits exceptionally well, just like H2 Neo.

DHS seems to have released so many variations of Hurricane and Skyline (2, 3, Neo, non-Neo, Provincial, National, etc), and now Tin Arc and Tin Arc3, that the Neo series seems to have been largely overlooked on the discussion forums, with H3 Neo getting most of the chatter. I'd encourage OOAK members to give Skyline TG3 Neo a try! Not sure how long it's mojo will hold up but my sheet is 6-weeks old now and it's still looking and playing like new.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, TG3 is overall the best rubber from DHS, the others all do something slightly better but overall it's clearly the best of them

just between tg3 ne0 and tg2 neo . i found that tg2 had more spin an a tad more pace, generating spin was easier. but harder to controll . now on the other hand tg3 was almost as fast but far easier to controll and far more forgiving

These days I'll take control over speed as my blade is OFF+. I had always read that soft rubbers were forgiving and more spinny and had avoided hard rubbers for that reason. Iirc, Tat is fond of hard Chinese rubbers and I think he was even using Skyline on one of his bats when we played in Milpitas, CA last year. Now I understand why.

I agree. Compared to H3 I'd take the TG3 anyday. TG3 is faster, just as spinny, has a lower throw and it's much easier to power drive. With H3 I always have to take speed off to make sure it lands on the table, with TG3 I can swing all-out.
It's just as easy to use as H3.

Ha, how funny. I had just replaced my old black Haifu 2.2 with a new sheet of red Skyline III 2.2 (not neo series) that I bought a few years ago in HK. Of course, the reason I replaced the rubbers was because the 8 month's old red LP had served it's purpose.

TG III is not as heavy as Hurricane III series, much easier to handle for this skinny hand and wrist. As nathanso said above, one can swing very hard without fearing.

So far, my main set up consisted a $15 paddle, a $6 LP and a $14 smooth rubber, much less than a sheet of normal rubber.

Mine two H2 Neo 39° are faster than the TGIII 39° I have.

Is DHS Skyline TG3 Neo for the 2000+ level player, or can the 1400+ level player handle it?

Do the H2 NEO and TG3 NEO really flat hit and punch block aswell as the Tenergy 25 and 64? T25 was simply amazing for hitting through spin and T64 my current rubber is not bad either.

How do you compare the sensisivity of incoming spin of the H2NEO and TG3NEO to the Tenergies? I really like tenergy but when recieving spinny serves (too) passively you can really feel the spin bite in the rubber and it causes errors.

Last but not least How would the H3NEO Provincial compare with the H2 NEO and TG3 NEO. Would it have the same flat hitting ability?

I always felt that T25 was better at flat hitting and hitting through spin than T64. Due to H2 Neo's and TG3 Neo's semi-tackiness (more than T25, anyway) the ball seems to stay on the rubber a tad longer but once it leaves the launching pad it's got more speed than most rubbers, albeit not quite as fast as T25. It doesn't leave me wishing it were faster, if that's any indication.

As far as spin sensitivity goes, I often block loop drives right off the bounce so this is a critical property for me. T25 was excellent for this as was Blitz. H2 Neo less so; in fact, it's why I left H2 Neo for TG3 Neo. As far as TG3 Neo's spin sensitivity goes, I'll need to get in more matches against more kinds of opponents before I can answer that one, though I'm nearly at the point of having two bats at the ready: A TG3 Neo bat for most players, and a Blitz bat for heavy loopers, Blitz being the most spin-insensitive inverted rubber I've found that can still generate plenty of spin itself.

How does it preform for fishing?
