I haven't used 64, only T05 and I don't find it anything super special, if I did I'd be using it. Pretty much every decent rubber makes the same spin so the main thing for me is control versus speed and Shark is very good with that ratio 8)

I just gave my (15h used) sheet of Shark II (yellow sponge) to a friend because it was a bit too fast for my current blade.
I do play Whale II (red sponge) and can comfirm foams findings.
Shark is definately lighter and faster than BWII, the loudest rubber I ever had, and with the biggest speed glue effect amongst the chinese rubbers i have played. As the top sheet ist not as tacky (almost no tack) as BWII you want be able to generate so much spin on short serves or pushes over the table. But than again its more about your technique than the rubber probably...
I will get definately a sheet of the red sponge version soon.
@ Foam: My sheet of Shark II was 33°, do you know if the soft version of the new one feels as soft as the old ones??
My BWII soft rs feel 6° harder than the shark II..

The odd reversal on blocks is similar to what I've experienced with TG3 Neo. What's the weight of your cut sheet of Shark II? I've read about earlier Haifu rubbers that were really heavy.. mid-50 gram range cut.

same with h3 provincial

have any of you compared this with the Donic Traction Soft, to confirm that it's similar or even the same?

I was curious about this rubber, and I saw this review.

I might get this on my Ross Leidy blade, not sure.

Because the top sheet is so thin on Shark you don't need to be a rocket surgeon to know it's a light rubber, will definitely be lighter than Whale II

I can't believe that nobody here saw anything wrong with that!

There is nothing wrong with it, Rocket Scientist and Brain Surgeon have both been used to describe the same thing for decades and people have been combining the two for extra coolness for at least all my life (40 years), there's nothing new about this 8)

From Urban dictionary:

Rocket Surgeon: 33 up, 3 down
A hybrid of the terms Rocket Scientist and Brain Surgeon. "It is not that difficult, it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to figure out."
How can you forget how to spell "ridiculous"
Clearly it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to spell common words correctly.

FYI: Both cut to Avalox P700 (perfect cut)
BW2 RS Soft: 42 grams
Shark 2 RS Hard: 50.2 grams

Shark 2 RS is not a light rubber (at least the hard ones I have)
Compared with:
Thors: 49.4 grams
Sanwei T88-I 39 degree: 57.6 grams! :o
Galaxy Venus 2 35 degree: 49.5 grams.
Regular Shark 2 37 Degree: 43.8 grams

4. Spin: This is where the rubber has some interesting properties, it's very spinny but is able to do some very strange things. Sometimes on blocking it will throw back reversed spin or weird spin in general, I'm not sure why this happens, the thin top sheet or what but it definitely happens, even popping back short serves sometimes give back quite a bit of spin when you have done nothing to the ball. Originally I didn't think I could chop well with this rubber but after I started using it on the backhand I got used to it and it chops fantastically well, low and spinny and it's just a great rubber for this, amazing considering how offensive the rubber is.

i agree abut this, spin is very good, but not as good as T05
and this rubber do strange things, sometimes i feel it doesnt give any spin..
so i tested it with medium max yellow sponge
with soft slow touch u cant generate much spin (if the ball will not deep in sponge)
if u do harder stroke and when ball deeps into sponge spin is over average
but still spin is worse than with T05
what is good abt this rubber? is control
its 300% easier to lift underspin than with T05, its far less sensivite to incoming spin
i had same strange effect with BWII, after 2 month topsheet doesnt have much grip/tack and with soft strokes it was almost like antispin, but on harder strokes there is spin
