I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same price as the others... :(

So, haggisv, are you going to include your 'Facebook' review here? If so, maybe start a new thread.

Yep sure will... it will just take a little while as it's a little more time consuming to insert pictures and format text here. Here is the review so far if you can't wait: :o

Thanks, haggisv!

It's weird but I'm almost tempted to join the real darkside = Butterfly. I know it's just a thing I have to wrestle with for a while, and I'm sure my stronger side will prevail and keep me away. Maybe. O:)

From your description so far and from the looks, it appears to be somewhere between T05 and T25, which makes it really interesting to me. I think they are experimenting primarily with the shape of the underlying pips, in this case taper angle. Very interesting indeed.

I had not thought about that, but I think you're right. It makes sense not to make any dramatic changes, as the original sheets are some of the most popular rubbers on the market.

If you've played with all three of the current Tenergy rubbers (05, 25, 64) you will recognize that quite significant changes in play and feel can come from doing nothing but changing pip size inside the rubber--which is the only thing different in those three. All three have a certain common and distinctive Tenergy feel, but vary in overall hardness, speed, and throw angle. Also, there is a pretty big difference between T05 and T25 (much more so than between 05 and 64), so there was definitely room for something in between 05 and 25, especially if the change pip shape/taper a bit as well as size. This is something people have been playing with a lot in short pips rubbers, but there it is important for inverted too. The topsheet and sponge are already pretty much perfect for Tenergy in terms of feel and grip.
