Does Butterfly use the scale on the left? The Tenergy rubbers are supposedly 36 degrees (which makes them a lot softer than most of the rubbers I've seen reviewed on the forum); I'm trying to find a rubber that's ideally about as soft as... maybe Tenergy 64 (anything softer is fine too), but slower (so I can chop with it on my FH). I would get Sriver El but it's not available on the website I plan on buying from (tabletennis11) :P
EDIT: If anyone would so kind as to give me a suggestion, I would prefer it to be available on tabletennis11.com; price is not an issue

Does anyone know whether DHS, Palio and Yinhe use the same hardness scale or not? Friendship 729 uses different hardness scale than DHS for sure.
Is Palio 36 degrees=Yinhe 36 degrees= DHS 36 degrees or not?
If not- please advise how they compare?

I think for Palio it depends on where the rubber is made, if in China then the scale should be the same...if in Europe then they quote the European scale figures. Confusing. For instance Palio Blitz, Thor's, and a couple of others are made in Europe and use the same scale as Donic, Andro, and Tibhar.

Nope: they use their own scale. Tenergies are supposedly to be 48 degrees; FX 42 degrees.

T64 is soft because of it's topsheet. Maybe try the FX version (that's a bit slower)? Or do you want something significant slower?

Well, I did say I would get Sriver El if I could :P I would get Vega Europe (normal, not df) but I'm afraid that it might be too uncontrollable in the short game.

Well, Sriver EL it will be. You can see from there if it isn't too slow.

To buy Butterfly, you have to go to your local Butterfly dealer.

However, I am not 100% clear on what you require. But if you want something with a bit of spring, but good control, I have been trying out Xiom Vega Intro, which is designed as an introduction to Tensors, and have to say it appears to be well named. IE, it does have control, and is comfortable to use: far more so than Vega Europe.

(Of course, I've not used the older Vega Europe, only Europe DF, which I find a good looping and spinning rubber, very soft feel, but doesn't have quite the power to finish rallies that I would like on the FH, but works nicely on BH for me.)

 I guess I could just order from some other place, but this is going to be my first custom bat (I've borrowed enough paddles to know what I want), and I'm afraid of messing up if I try to assemble the paddle itself.... plus, tt11 has the stuff I want that other places don't. Great deals too :P

As long as it's softer than Tenergy 64, sure  Hurricane 3 is way too hard for my liking
