Yeah, maybe :)

But im not sure if its adhesives. Youre aware of the Spinmax products? The original is said to be able to make any rubber tacky and even restore very old ones. An aquiantance of mine thinks its similar to the fluids used for maintaining the rubber cylinders in printing presses. I think they treat the rubbers with something like that to make em tacky and sticky. Or maybe they might include some of these chemicals in the rubber formula for tacky rubbers.

Donic Desto F1 44 *
Donic Desto F2 41 *
Donic Desto F3 Big Slam 35 *

Just for better comparison, TENERGY 05 (2mm sponge) has 51* hardness, as measured by Haggis. Shore O durometer.
Speaking in plain words, Desto F2 is going to feel distinctly softer than Tenergy, and Desto Big Slam is feeling a mashy sponge, indeed.

DONIC did never open the actual testing data regarding their rubber products. It is proprietary data owned by DONIC, not for public knowledge.
Still, you can figure out those "unspoken" numbers by help of the CONTRA catalogue which is giving a useful clue on the actual rubber hardness.

Quote:

Sponge hardness classification (according to CONTRA):

soft (up to 42°): &nbsp soft, much Rotation, much ball feeling, less Tempo
medium (43-45°): &nbsp compromise from rubber Resilience and ball feeling
hard (from 46°): &nbsp high speed, less control, less Rotation
NOTE: CONTRA expertise team would always use 'Shore O' scale in their evaluations of the rubber items.

Igor, do you have the full list of Contra comparisons, ie other brands? I haven't tried nearly enough rubbers, but from the short pips list you posted elsewhere, they are nearly spot on!
