I`m mostly offence on f/h in matchplay but did try chopping with a boosted Barracuda in practice and it has plenty of grip for this bearing in mind that I spinmaxed it and the topsheet has a good response to that product,I also noticed that the chops were a nice height for a high throw rubber and difficult to attack,note if you used it on a Defplay boosting is a must,I thought the black version was better than the red for spin, speed and arc,black was 2.0 red was 1.8

I chop a lot and tested out Barracuda Big Slam for a while... I haven't put it back on since!

It's weird in that it seems to be a spinny rubber, but not overly effective for chops. I actually prefer the T 05-FX for chops, or something like JP 03.
