Hey ppl how does this setup sound for Stga Clipper CR Non WRB
FH Stiga Power Lt
BH Xiom Vega Elite

I play loop on FH and BH. Like to block and push the ball....

Any recommendations are welcome

I tried Xiom Vega Elite (which I found great on Andro Temper Tech off- before) on BH on clipper clone, and I really did not like it!
I felt that it was too soft and the sponge would bottom out when blocking, resulting in less control. I didn't lack this control with the andro blade (better blade for blocking and more control, i guess). Looping was ok, but not great. Currently playing with a bit harder rubber on backhand (spinlord marder II) and it works better.
Maybe try vega europe on backhand?


These are just my 2 cents. Vega elite might fit you well on backhand.

Thanks for the reply. U r absolutely right abt how the xiom vega elite bottoms out when blocking really hard hit shots. Except that i found this comvination being quite suitable for me. Just the right amount of speed and spin that my level of play can handle

I have just used Hurricane 3-50 and I have to say for looping...WOW! it super nice
For my back hand on that stiga I would go Tibhar 1Q or Tenergy 05/ 05 fx

I use two blades:

BTY, Geraydia T5000
FH- Bryce High Speed
BH- Tenergy 05fx

And my fast blade:
Stiga Titanium WRB, not the 5.4
FH-Hurricane 3-50
BH- Tibhar 1Q 1.9 mil

This blade is fast and I had to slow it down just a bit but the sheer looping power of this blade and rubber is awsome!
