Hi everyone,

Need some help please in replacing an old H3 Neo sheet on the forehand.

Are there any glue effect Chinese rubbers on the market that are on the softish/medium hardness and lively side? I've got a 38 deg Provincial H3 Neo Im happy with, but having trouble sorting a replacement..

Style is defence with occasional counterattack, say 70/30% category, with an ALL blade.

Any of the new Ritc rubbers in this category? Unfortunately they have a million products with very unhelpful descriptions!

Thanks!

I've always played with H2 (Sorry not H3). But recently, I've changed to Yinhe Venus II (Medium sponge) which spinny and fast though. May be a little lower throw than H3 but definitely higher than H3.
Oh It's also factory tuned.

If you like H3N Prov go with the Nittaku DHS Hurricane III Neo which you can buy for example at tt-japan for $30 plus shipping. It's the same things as the provincial but you will get always the same quality (QC by Nittaku!) and you can buy it from a reputable TT dealer.

Could try something from Haifu, maybe whale. Be aware is a bit heavy though.

I don't think it's quite the same thing, the provincial is bit better, but nittaku is close enough. The op can also try yinhe big dipper which is modern hybrid tacky/bouncy rubber.

I found Venus II to be a mite heavy.

Do you use max sponge? Problem with Chinese is that most sheets are ONLY available with max sponge!

You can read my opinion on various sheets under the "Training Rubber" thread. I find most to play pretty much the same, so maybe those "reviews" won't be of much help. Still have not tried H3 (too expensive for my taste).
