I've used the 7's (boosted) for about 2 1/2 months now. Played with it in the US Open and did pretty well, made it to the semi finals in the u1950. The rubber is mildly tacky and produces good speed/spin. The soft sponge allowed me to easily block with placement and controlled spin on half volleys and fishing. It blocks good but away from the table it's better to re-loop. The softer sponge gives you the dwell time to catch and re-spin the attack. You're able to really load up serves. My short spiny servers had a lot of bite. I'm very impressed with the quality/durability of the rubber and love the price. I used to play with Tenergy and this stuff seems to last just a long. I picked up a sheet of Zero at the US Open and will try it out this week.

We are looking at about 5 weeks, Big Gun, Burst, Zero and Zero Blue Diamond, + our exotic line of blades...I regret the delay between Vegas and the availability of the products, however it is a big number of rubbers, blades, and blades with rubbers.

Play Well

Tom

I'd love to here a Zero review.
Also what is Zero Blue Diamond?

I have become used to the high throw of Donic Bluefire JP3, but not the price.
I have tried 7s, but the throw was much lower in comparison. I am not certain if it was mainly due to the increased tackiness or the sponge.

I put a sheet of Aces Pro Competitor in black on the forehand side of my racket and I've used it for a few sessions now. The tack is pretty light, but the rubber seems very spinny on serves and when I have good form on loops with a loose wrist and brushing contact. Not much spin on counterhits. You can really pile up backspin on chops!

I was worried it would be hard to control because I am not a very experienced player and this is a much faster rubber than what I was using before (Reflectoid, switched when it seemed to lose its spinniness), but it hasn't been a particularly difficult transition. At least I don't _think_ I'm missing the table more than I was before :V

Another question for zeropong: It was mentioned before that clicking on the detailed descriptions for Aces Pro Competitor and Sevens Pro Competitor would give more detailed information about the differences between them, but even the detailed descriptions are near-identical:

Quote:
Sevens Pro competitor series designed for the post 2016 era where the plastic 40+ ball is the standard.

Perfect harmony of light tack and mechanical spin.
Quick settle in period, optimal playing attributes after a very short period.
Very light!! The lightest uncut sheet of 2.1mm sponged rubber we have ever carried (51g+-3)
Deep Power for a feather weight rubber.
Stacked ICMS large pore sponge fantastic with or without oil based tuners.
Statistics:

Sponge 2.1mm Stacked ICMS large pore ultra light (mid soft)
Speed: 90
Spin: 93
Control: 90
1:100 scale (pro competitor ratings)

Are these the same topsheet on different sponges? I'm not looking to EJ at this point, just curious.

Also, nb. that the description for Sevens lists only 2.1mm sponge but the drop-down box on the page shows it as available in 1.7mm or 2.1mm.
