Well, not really...

Judging by the price, this is in the "deluxe" category - other Chinese rubber in this price range would include Yinhe Big Dipper, Haifu Whale, Sanwei A+, 729 Battle. Comes in two sponge thicknesses, and three sponge hardnesses (which are listed, which is VERY uncommon with this vendor).

A little too expensive to buy on a whim.

I was expecting 61 Second to have a whole line of these - you know, Wombat, Koala, Platypus - but the only other animal-named rubber is Eagle. Somehow I think those trees in the picture are the wrong ones.

ROFL...

Sounds like the Australian version of the Chupacabra or the Jackalope. More Chupacabra than Jackalope, of course.

Reminds me... went to see the movie "The girl with all the gifts" on Sunday - turned out to be yet another zombie flick, but here they turned into Human Cordyceps.

Comes with its own little pouch, so the ball may sometimes disappear without any apparent reason :P

Oh and beware, it will box on if you get too close :o

Actually... gives me an idea. A line of rubbers called Chupacabra, Jackalope and Drop Bear. With the appropriate photos on the front covers. OK, time to get to work on the Photoshop...

Had this in mind in this thread Kim. It was on the news here last night. They even did a back-story on it, because the guy who boxed the Roo was out in the bush with the dogs pig-hunting in honor of his mate who just died of cancer.

Roos don't tend to be like that unless they feel threatened. The dog had probably had a go at it. Guy was lucky to get away with what he did. Roo looked shocked, like "what the heck just happened". If it reflexively kicked out, it could have disemboweled the guy.

Echidna - pips out, obviously, but may fall afoul of the aspect ratio rule, for those of you with a little spine
Koala - when boosted with eucalypt oil leaves the others behind.
Kangaroo - takes your game ahead by leaps and bounds.
Platypus - extra tacky, works well in extreme humidity, but you should see the bill

Retriever, you forgot Emu!

Emu - flightless rubber, meaning balls won't float from it. Comes in larger than usual sizes and is extremely fast if well motivated.
