So if you don't want a Tensor get Musa, and if you want a "beginner Tensor" then get Vega Intro?

Still have not figured out the significance of the various Xiom Tensor "lines" - Vega, Omega, Sigma. What do all Vegas have in common that make them different from all Omegas? (Musa and Janus are not difficult to figure out since there's only 2 Musas and 1 Janus.) Being the cynic I am, the reason I think Xiom sells 30 different rubbers (based on what I see on TT11) and other companies have catalogs just as big if not bigger is that they're forced to come out with 2-3 new rubbers every year or lose market share.

Xiom Vega Intro is the cheapest modern true tensor as I know. But it is not beginner's rubber. It is heavy as most recent rubbers, it is very spin sensitive and springy. I do not buy the idea that everybody needs fresh glue effect but it is fully here for the least cost.
