I read a funny story about the origin of the TSP 730 name on mytt : http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_po ... ing-origin

"TSP 730 still is available today. It is one of the oldest rubber TSP has. The reason TSP named its rubber 730 is because in the old time. Chinese dominate the sports with Friendship 729. TSP came out with the name one ahead, as a result TSP 730. It is such a funny history, and it sure is an interesting story, too!"

I though that was pretty funny! :lol: :lol: :lol:

730 is the rubber on one of our mini bats at the club. I won the B grade mini bat championship with it and since then have always wanted to try a sheet for real.

I think it's actually quite a decent rubber... I know a few people that love it and won't use anything else. I've not tried it myself.
