Do anyone know the differences of this rubbers? They said it is almost similar with their spin and control. What do you think? :?: :Chop: :topspin:

To be honest. What is your budget? I like the MX-P over T64, it has been a while since I have used the T64. I don't think that there is that much of a difference to warrant the price tag of the T64 over the MX-P.

I am more then happy with the MX-P I have on my blade at the moment.

Im my experience with both, mx-p its more similar to T05, t64 have a very soft topsheet and a hard sponge resulting in a soft felling overall, and mxp have a hard topsheet and a harder sponge.

what the man said...

mxp is harder sponge rubber, more similar to t05...if you are searching for a t64 substitute try softer evolution series...

My budget is 100$+ and i think that would be enough. So like your set up right now is that good as an alternative for the tenergy rubbers?

Personally, I think it is. Like I mentioned before, my experience with Tenergy and the Evolution Rubbers, there is not a great deal of difference for me to spend that much more on my rubber sheets. You'd be better off getting the Tibhar rubbers and spending the rest of the budget on a training session with a good coach.

I have a lot of experience with these rubbers including Tenergy 05.

I think 05 and 64 is still one class ahead vs mx-p specially if you are using the right blade. However, my complaint with Tenergy is that it tends to lose its power ( or boost? ) after a month of continued use. Aside from the price of cource.

My current set - up Gewo Hype EL feels almost the same with MX-P. I will revert back to MX-P once my current rubber is worn out already.

Used to use both T64 and MXP, both on a defensive blade, BTY Joo Se Hyuk. Overall I found T64 was considrubly faster, but weaker on the spin side. Both great rubbers, but depends on what your looking for. T64 to me is something else to MXP, much stronger in most aspects. I prefer it's balance of speed-spin, but it's your choice. If you like spinny, still well paced rubbers, MXP is for you. If your much more aggressive, needing extra power, then go for T64. Again, both great rubbers, quite similar, so go for what you think.

Not a comparison with Tenergy but I've been playing with MX-P for the last few months - read about it here:

viewtopic.php?f=44&t=25211&start=375#p339783

It's getting pretty grotty, and it's shrunk yet again. Been through about 3-4 boost cycles, and it's time for another one. Actually, perhaps it's time to try something else, too. Maybe it's time to find out what all the hype about Tenergy 05 is all about (boy is it expensive, though....).. I mean, the stuff's almost TEN YEARS OLD and it's still referred to in hushed tones, leads the pack in the number of international pros using it, AND is what everyone refers to by way of comparison. Maybe it'll be unusable by a lowly player like me. Then again, maybe not...

I have been using a red sheet of used MXP rubber that I got for free.

Would have to be the fastest rubber I've ever used. Seems slightly faster to me than the various Tenergy rubbers.

It's feels - like the sponge or rubber holds the ball for a split second before catapulting the ball super fast. Sort of a clicky, speed glue sound.

It's also good for lifting heavy chop.

I missed a lot of forehand drives with it on my first session but I'm still not quite dialled in to the angle of bat it needs.

I really love the feel of this rubber like no other. 05 feels a bit harder to me than this rubber,64 feels softer. Somewhere in between perhaps.

I put a lightweight Omega 7 on the other side,my backhand and my MXP played a little slower.

I then put my favourite though heavier Stiga Genesis back on - and I found another gear for speed with the MXP.

It's a heavy rubber so I would not use it on a blade more than 85g. My Stiga Sense 7.6 weighs 82g and my bat is now as heavy as I can handle.
