I recently peeled off my evolution mxp to use on another paddle and it turned out like the picture :( Is it still good to play with?

I don't see any major damage. Just a few spots where the old glue has come off.

:| Small part of the spong like 2mm got peeled off. How does that affect performance.

Don't hit the ball on that spot.. (Given it's 2mm the chances of that are...)

The part torn out is right at the edge of the sweet spot, so you'll hit it at every single perfectly executed loop (BH loop and flick if you are lefthanded and use it for BH). However, it is so small that the surrounding sponge will probably provide sufficient support, so you never notice it.

Probably not strictly legal for competition (uniformity rule), but you don't get any unfair advantage and no one will ever know. (Errr... now you posted it in public, so everyone in the world will know. Sorry! :P )

Yes I agree with keme, I think you won't notice, and once glued back onto the blade, no umpire or player is going to know either.

I suppose you could fill the hole with something.. Spackle would be too hard, maybe crumbled sponge?
