hi

Here I play with a secret flow chop in 1.5mm. I would like to know what could bring me this same coating in 1.0mm. I know it will be slower and will have more control (although in 1.5 it already has a lot). But what more brings a backside less thick (+ backspin ??)

Thank you all for your answers

Very few rubbers are still made in 1.0mm since the 40mm balls, the only ones I can think off are 729 FX and Yasaka Mark V and a few defensive rubbers. 1.0mm might give you more control, but you'll need to brush very finely to get get spin, or else it might bottom out too easily.

You may still be able to get Kokutaku 868 in 1.0mm which is quite tacky and gives good spin on chops and pushes. But as mentioned above needs a fast and very fine brushing action for fast topspin as otherwise it bottoms out and the ball will go long.
