Hello,

Sorry to retry with my question  :

How would you compare the Avalox Pronte (soft) with the Juic 999 Elite Nano/ Juic Elite Ultima in term of speed and speed and feel ? Is the topsheet thin and tacky like Pronte ?

Thanks all,

Brahms

I actually preferred 999 elite nano/ultima to pronte. From memory, they were about the same speed with the nano being the fastest by a bit. The elite topsheet is slightly harder than the pronte topsheet. Tack was about the same. Nano felt the best to me as you could hit harder with it without the sponge collapsing, which pronte did to me repetitively.

I found the Pronte to be a lot tackier (black). Not sure how they compare speed wise, but probably not a big difference.

BH: light and fast
I have all of these.
999EN is the faster of all three, but not much. The lightest, the softest and has the lowest throw.
999EU is the spiniest of them Very consistent Great control, but it's a bit heavier
Pronte(soft) is the tackiest, has the best serve of them and it is a bit slower
The throw of the Pronte and 999EU is about the same

I'm still under testing the Juic 999 Elite Nano 2mm on forehand and the Pronte 2mm soft on backhand.
The Juic Elite Nano is so far very much better in term of speed compare to the Juic 999 Elite 2mm.
The spin is better due to the softer sponge and I love the dwell time... and the feeling...very good.

I improved my backhand so perhaps could I switch to the Pronte but normaly the tacky rubbers are not suggested for backhand, smoother rubbers are prefered. Is there any backhand players in the forum with Pronte ?

I keep you in touch

Brahms

I think the reason that this rubber has not had the best showing is because of the brand, Avalox is known for great blades and blade quality, but their rubber production has seen quality control issues (i.e. purot, etc.) and there's not any kind of advertising or promotion of Avalox rubbers to get their name out there, Pronte def sounds promising though!
