1. The reviewer: An intermediate player who plays at a decent level for over 6 years. I used Primorac Off- blade for this review (40 mm version)

2. Physical Properties: 2.0 mm sponge, Medium soft sponge, fairly tacky topsheet, pretty much your average 729 MRS sponged rubber

3. Speed:
- Speed on slow strokes - Pretty slow
- Speed on power loops - Average
- Speed on power drives/smashes - Average

4. Spin:
- Spin on a loops - Controlled Medium throw arc feel loops. Less spinnier than Sriver (I can do more than this with Sriver)
- Spin on serves/pushes - Controlled Low Throw Arc feel on serves. Still less spinnier than Sriver

5. Control:
I can pretty much do anything with this rubber with decent results.

6. Other Playing properties:
Controlled Medium throw arc feel Topspin strokes. Controlled Medium throw arc feel on Backspin and Serve strokes. I feel that this rubber needs more kick from the sponge (Speed Glue) but still plays decent,

7. Reference: Compared with Sriver

8. Other comments: Pretty much your average "do anything" Chinese rubber. I feel that it is still not in the level of Sriver though. I can do more than this with Sriver. I guess we will see once I try out the Transcend sponge version.

Thanks makai, nice review!

I suspect your strokes are well adjusted to sriver style rubbers. For those that brush loop more, which you can do with most chinese rubbers, should get a little more out of Cream. Still I pretty much agree with you, it's an alround rubber that can do everything, but is not terribly fast without speed glue.

I agree with your review, it was a nice all around rubber for control that could do a little of everything. Great for a developing player who needs to learn how to control spinny shots.

The Chinese coach who thought me said that when using Chinese rubbers, you should focus more on BRUSH LOOPING with the main focus on controlling spin and the arc with a forward motion not back out of position. Once you can do that, you can start looping with a sense of instinct where all balls will land on the table. Rubbers like Cream should do the job well and I hope it doesn't die on me (the tacky surface). I bought Spinmax already (Don't know what version)
