An offer like that is off course to good to be turned down, so I ordered one sheet of each, GT in red and 999 in black.

Definitely a good deal, one or both should work well for you!

I have had 729FX supersoft (2mm) on my 1yo Wavestone for around 4 months,changing from RITC 2000 tackspeed mrs/hrs.
The rubber gets faster with age and is more tacky than expected. I can still pick up a ball with the black side (playing around 6-8hrs /week).
I have found the control to be a big improvement, with ease of chopping and pushing, touch over the net, good blocking, and general accuracy with medium throw. The new rubbers have brought my backhand into the game .. and short punchy forehands and backhands are now the go. Looping is good as is counterhitting and it is easy to change the pace and drop shot etc. I am working on brushing, but don't expect any problems.
Spin is a little harder to generate than the RITC but it is less sensitive to incoming spin.
Speed is good over the net and to middle distance with characteristic Wavestone spring.
All in all I am very pleased with the Wavestone/supersoft combo, so much so that I got one for my son and a spare to boot!

Could you please give us a description of how they played as soon as you get a chance? I would really like to hear how they played. Oh, also you said you can get Juic sponges somewhere? I am not afraid of glueing top to sponge, the first couple times it worked out great for me.
You mentioned Japsko. I do see the sponges, but I don't even see how you would check a price, or purchase it even if you saw a price. Hmmmm?
