I used to use the Hammond Pro Alpha, thought it was a good allround attacking rubber. I haven't used it for years, but I thought it was a little similar to the Cream MRS. Not sure about the Pro B version though.

I was wondering what the "beta" means. Is this a tuned version of Hammond? It might make a great backhand rubber!

Its the post glue ban Hammond. I want to try it pretty badly but there is no cost effective way to do so yet here in the US.

@Mildseven - you can now get it at PaddlePalace.com in the US:

I will be buying a sheet probably the week after next.

A friend got it. Very nice grippy topsheet with a softish sponge. Seems softer than Pro Alpha. Bounce is pretty good too.

Can you confirm that it has a "built-in speed glue effect"?

I got mine today but I won't be able to try it until early next week. It is softer than Hammond X and slightly softer than pro Alpha (if I remember correctly), so subjectively I'd call it medium or medium-soft. Also, this rubber does not have the same topsheet as the old ones and it does not come with a plastic film on the topsheet, which is fairly transparent in red. I don't have a scale but it feels light, and this is confirmed by Jasupo, which also reveals in their analysis that the pips are conical. It is somewhat visible to the naked eye. Sponge color is a pale violet/pink kind of like Pro Alpha. Like other Hammonds before, it is not especially grippy to the touch. This is all the information I have from just looking at it.
