They added a sandpaper event to the ongoing U.S. Open. This was mainly to showcase a delegation of top liha players from the Philippines. Unfortunately most of the Filipinos were denied entry into the country, allegedly on some bogus allegation that they were terrorists!!!

I think among the so-called "terror suspects" are Filipino table tennis icon Richard Gonzales, and top players Roberto Bas and Okoy Logrono. Peter Cua is playing. This whole situation is unbelievably stupid!
