For people like me with an obsession about knowing what equipment people are using, I thought I'd put together this little chart showing what equipment notable hardbat players use (or used). Please help me fill in the blanks or inform me about important players to add to the list.

Iirc, Trevor Runyan (one of my former coaches) used the Yasaka hardbat rubber. You're correct on his Valor blade.

Francis was using Valor Premier rubber, the ITTF approved version, a couple of months ago. Did he switch?

CHEERS!

You left out Carlos Ko. Valor Champion blade and Valor Premier rubber. Carlos won the 2010 US Open Hardbat, and came in 2nd at 2011 US Open Hardbat.

No I didn't. ;) I will play with it tomorrow in the Hardbat serie of the last Annecy Summer Tournament, and also in my rating serie. I still play with my BTY Des Douglas blade.

F-J Huermann plays with an old Imperial Eberhard Schöler blade, probably from the 70's. I don't remember the rubbers.
Jean-Michel Carquin plays with a Butterfly Morist blade (same as my Des Douglas, probably from the 80's) and 729 Dr Evil rubbers. He also uses a BTY Grubba ALL blade, which is the same as his "sponge" bat.
