I did suspect the shipping might be expensive. I remember selling a bit of car trim from a classic I broke / parted some years ago to a chap in NZ - when we found out the cost to send we mutually agreed to cancel the sale, it was ridiculous.

With the bats, it might be better to get batches sent over to split the shipping costs if it takes off.

One thing I guarantee - when you play with it you'll be suprised just how fast it is.

I think they were about £8-10 when I've seen them.

Ah, but that's the beauty of it – you can use the sandpaper for home maintenance. Or justify its purchase on that basis.

You can even use your bat as a sanding block if you can't find any loose sandpaper lying around!

At sandpaper bat pennant matches, people will ask, "What grade are you?"

Bat arrived today! Heavier and more powerful than I expected. And I emailed TT australia about organising a Sandpaper event and getting an Aussie in to the world championships. They're not interested. Tt vic didn't reply. Emailed tt NSW today. Will wait and see.

Thanks for the update. Maybe one of the clubs might be interested in picking it up, if the National and State bodies aren't interested. Although of course the reach of a larger organisation is better.

I have some WCPP bats for sale, I ordered them to Fred Dove. The price is 16 € without shipping, that's around $25 (AUD). Shipping is around 25 € ($39) and is the same for one or several bats.
