I had a sheet of this awhile back. The pips felt more like a medium rather than short. Base was quite thick, underneath it was etched with a grid design. Overall, it was quite heavy for something without a sponge. Spin can be generated, hitting hard with it was good too. Chopping against a inverted player the ball was too high. Then again I always found med pips hard to chop with.
