You can read all about this blade, with lots of pictures in the Nexy Tuvalu thread here

Nexy would really like some independent reviews of the new blade, and has kindly offered 5 new Tuvalu blades for free to our members. All you are expected to do is to review the blade, and write it in Nexy's thread.
The testers will get the blade for free, but only need to pay for delivery by buying a item in the nexy store.
So the procedure for the nominees that are accepted are:
1. You buy any item from the Nexy store
2. You go through checkout and select payment and delivery information
3. You put a note in the order stating your forum name, handle option and weight option.
You can see the handle and weight options here: http://nexy.com/shop/step1.php?number=1318
4. You complete the checkout and your payment.
5. Once you receive your blade, you post your review in the Nexy thread.

Nexy has asked me to run this for him, and I'm happy to do this. Considering it's a $150 blade with a very innovative design, I think it's a great offer!

So if you're interested in the offer, please nominate yourself here or via PM to me.
If there are too many nominations I will need to choose the recipients based on how well I think they can write a review. :(

Hi,

I would like to test if shipping to England is ok. I have tried many blades from Dr N (Firewall, Hi Tech), Hallmark (Combi), Butterfly (Grubba Pro), Rendler (Mephisto 7001, Tachi Red) etc. but so far have always returned to my basic bog-standard Tachi which I have found is the best compromise for control, grip and effect.

Mephisto was better in many areas, particularly F/H spin and feel, but chopped B/H returns were just a bit higher, less controlled and with less bite than the Tachi.

Interesting to see how this compares?

Regards Andrew

PS - what currency is the Nexy website showing charges in?

Blade: Victas Matsushita
FH: hybrid k1 euro
BH: Curl p1r 1.0
I am real interested in reviewing this blade, sounds like what i need... i have a really strong FH and a good chopping game with BH, so sounds like a good move to me.
I can review with a perspective of a modern defender.

I am interested on this Tuvalu.

Please consider me as one of the blade tester. I am one of the founder and also president of our local tabletennis forum. ( http://www.tenismejamania.com )

My last setup is Tachi with Tibhar Grass Dtecs OX.

I believe I could give a precise review on this blade.

Thanks, this certainly looks interesting and I like the name and sentiment behind it.

@ haggisv - hoping to test my new Perfect tonight...if that's a total disaster (I don't think it will be) I may be up for a little mind changing again if this is still open, lol!

After much thought, and discussion with the other MODS, we've decided on the following people to get the opportunity for a free Tuvalu blade for testing and review:

theoldduffer
tobhik
cogito
geddk
andrew13

I'm sorry to have to disappoint the other nominees ... there were many other good nominees (many nominated via PM) who would no doubt be very capable of writing a review as well. I've tried to keep my own personal friendship out the decision making, and based it purely on who we think would provide the most useful and informative review for Nexy. I hope you can respect that and not hold it against me :( :( :(
PS If any of the members have changed their mind, please let me know so that another member can take your place.
