Smashing, so we buy any item, TT rubber etc. from website, then make our request. Is it worth requesting specific weight or are there 5 blades already allocated?

Looks like a good crew to me. Hope to see these in action in OOAKer hands and reviews soon.

According to this post, testers are already selected. The rest of us just have to wait 'till the next opportunity comes around.

I will test with Desperado/OX and Shark II Soft 1.9, so that I gain a direct comparison with my BBC 8-9-8.

And you sir, will be instrumental in the testing as you have played against every blade and rubber combination I have tried in the last 5 years!

To all the testers, if I could make one plea it would be to have some video footage please. It would really help the context of your reviews to see you playing with this blade so we best understand your own levels and those of your opponents. It would really bring your words to life. Will any of you be able to do this please?

Will try to get a video. To give an idea of standard, this was my testing of previous Rendler Mephisto blade trying to attack and block against Gareth Herbert (ex England no 3!) in a training session.
(iPhone footage, but not too bad as good lighting)

You can select the handle type and weight from his site here: http://nexy.com/shop/step1.php?number=1318 Quote that in your message when you make the order.

 Fortunately I do not own a video camera and none of my training partners either. So nobody will be able to watch my half-assed play  .

Just consider my impressions as being of value for all of the less talented members of OOAK (if there are any :?: ). The other testers will cover the more potent part of OOAK world.

Waiting on an answer re clothes sizes from Nexy before ordering blade. Does anyone know if their largest Nexy shirt size XXL is the same as UK size or if it is the diminitive Japaneses size? I once ordered a Butterfly XXL shirt from Hong Kong and it was smaller than a UK Large.
