Post subject:  Who would you like to see interviewed?

I'm sure many of us would like to know a little more about certain people or companies. I'd really like to find out more about quite a few manufacturers and also some unique players and others that have an influence on our sport...?

Let me know who you'd like to read an interview about, and we will attempt to contact them to see if they're willing to do an interview, either direct, via phone or via Email/written. I think it will be hard to get hold of many of the top players, but you'd think at least some of the manufacturers would be most willing to do an interview to tell us more about themselves, like how they got started, how they became successful, what their future plans are, etc.

Once any of them agree, we can collect questions here on what to ask them, and then compile them and conduct the interview, which can then be posted here.

What do you think? Who would you like to read an interview on? Manufacturers, dealers, officials, current players, former players, coaches or even some members here?

How about going for some ex-players who maybe have books to promote?

Syed or Neale from england, Douglas maybe.

Yes sounds like a good idea...as long as we have questions we want to ask them, coz I personally don't what questions to ask them.

Good thoughts. I don't have contact details for the last 2, but I have the others.

BTW I've just asked Achim from Re-Impact (Rendler) if he'd be willing to do an interview, as I've been chatting to him a fair bit recently. He has agreed  , so I will start a thread about this shortly. It will be interesting to hear his background, and how he came up with the idea of the Tachi that we keep discussing here lately ;)

I second this list, but I'd also like to add Todd Sweeris.

Sebastian Sauer was in the same club as Lieck and knows him fairly well. RoundRobin is in the same club as Gao Jun.

They will be hard to track down for sure... but if anyone knows how to contact them let me know, and I'll send the invitation to an interview...

I'll never get hold of him!

I think the current elite players could probably get paid big $$$ for an interview, so the chances of scoring a free interview with our forum are pretty slim...

You're right, I would not rule it out, but I know it will be hard as I've tried to track him down (online) before. We have a wide variety of people here with all sorts of skills and from many different backgrounds, so who knows what connections or knowledge they have...

I would like to read an interview with an elastomer engineer, preferably one with experience in, or related to, table tennis rubber.
