THE Spalding and District Table Tennis League held an open event in conjunction with the ‘join in local sport’ initiative last week – with plenty getting involved. Nine tables were set up – one with the league’s ‘Robopong’ machine active – and visitors were given the opportunity to try the sport, along with some coaching in the basics.
