Five times European champion and the runner up in the recent LIEBHERR Men’s World Cup, which concluded in the city of Liverpool on the afternoon of Sunday 30th September 2012, Germany’s Timo Boll is set for a quick return to England.

He will oppose Panagiotis Gionis of Greece in a specially organised exhibition match, to celebrate the opening of Bounce; a state-of-the-art club where in luxurious surroundings you can enjoy a meal, a drink and of course, play table tennis.

Located at 121 Holborn in the city of London, no less than 15 table tennis tables, based on the Europa model, used for many World and European competitions in recent years have been installed.

They're pretty lucky the ITTF includes this in their news... should bve a good boost for the event!

Meanwhile the USA event with Wang Hao, Ma Lin, Wang Liqin and Ding Ning (plus Kreanga, Tokic, Persson, Ariel Tsing and a few other notables) goes unmentioned.

The USATT also ignored it, but their current lead story on their web page features an unimportant non-USATT sanctioned "Dirty Dozen contest" at SPiN NYC. I guess top ten world-rated aren't interesting to our national association who is supposed to represent us.
