Interesting that he calls them sets not games. Surely if Samsonov and Cobalt both call them sets then time for ITTF to make a change.

When I was growing up, the only racket sport I ever watched on television was Badminton. So I was quite surprised, years later, to find out there were such things as "games" as well as "sets" in other sports. Tennis REALLY had me confused the first couple times I watched it... :lol: I still have no idea what they call the things in, say, volleyball or squash, let along Fives or Jaialai.

Incidentally, people here still refer to the deciding third, fifth or seventh game/set/whatever as a "rubber set", because that's what they call it in Badminton. No idea why the "rubber", though.
