Interesting. I didn't know his parents were Chinese..

(I wonder if he'll watch this video five years from now and cringe at some of the stuff they made him do.. like the "Harley Motor" )

Interesting. He's wearing a Victas shirt but supposedly plays with a custom Butterfly blade and Tenergy both sides.

Damn that kid is good.

I think he can really improve too. His backhand and serve have plenty of room for growth.

He's only 14. Wait till he hits 20, we'll really be seeing something. Spectacular to watch, too. A lot of people didn't (or don't) like him because he's very vocal when he scores a point, but he seems otherwise pretty quiet and polite. Not like some kids I've come across (constantly bragging.. ). Doesn't argue with the umpires, etc. Most definitely not a McEnroe type..

I don't like the over-cho'ing. But he is amazing, and a good kid at heart.

He will be world champ someday at this pace!

Come to think of it.. have you EVER seen any McEnroe-type behavior (arguing with the umpire) in televised world class table tennis?? Can't say I ever have. Perhaps because line calls are pretty much a non-issue in table tennis. Net cords are similarly pretty obvious, especially to the players. The only potentially contentious thing I can think of would be illegal serve calls, and I have yet to see anyone object to one, let alone throw a tantrum.
