Its because i have a job :P

haha
nah

I haven't bought much (any) stuff lately. Also I bought a watch so now I'm broke.

I was thinking about an MEO though, but chose the stiga maplewood 5 instead. Bad choice.

I'd probably take the HH over an MEO if you already have the HH, unless, of course, you dont have either.

i take it YEO and MEO are the same thing..

the HH is a nice blade , im stigg getting used to the fact that i cant use TBH with it that well , returning heavy loops the ball seems to always go into the net.. + the either very dead feeling on soft touch and very powerful on a power stroke( using H3 neo Provincial) it seems to like it when i use weight transfer to generate spin simple arm movement isnt precise enough. while the Focus snipe is playing very well without any negative points. one thin layer of falco long booster on FS3 turns it into a beast with a very addicting plock/click the spin and speed increase is liniar and still very controllable..its been about a month ot two now and most of the plock is gone.. but its still performing well

Yeah, same thing. I don't actually know why people took to calling it YEO, since it's a Ma Lin Extra Off and the Yasaka catalog code is MEO.

As for the HH, when you say 'returning heavy loops go into the net', as in heavy topspin? or heavy power? I'm not totally convinced that switching to the MEO would help you here; I think it's meant to be a bit slower than the HH, but also a bit thicker? So it should flex a bit less. I guess it might help, but I'm not really sure. Have you tried doing slight lifting movements for your TBH? Like when you see Ma Lin hitting up on the backhand side.

Or maybe you should just return everything with RPB! :D

Long time no talk.

After 3 month break I started playing again, this time using something faster, a TBZLF with Hammond Pro Beta both sides. Very different to my last bat (Acoustic/H3/T64), much faster, less spinny.

Arm still giving me twinges every now and again. Rotator cuff injury.

I'm in japan on holiday at the moment. Looking at ~13AUD rockmelons.

And these aren't even the expensive ones! I saw a JPY14000 one! (~180AUD?)

Now they're expensive balls!

Rotator cuff injury at your age? Must be trying to slam the celluoid off the ball too much! :P

kinda, but not really as i was taught to hit it more or less downwards(top of the ball). i could use RPB but with a punch the ball seems to move faster

Silver how many DHS blades have you tried? Some of them (most of them actually) play pretty good.

half a dozen or so. HH, HWL, HWH, Hurricane classic no1, one or two of the dippers, maybe one other one... a HWN or something weird like that?

Yes, I really like DHS blades. By far the best Chinese blades out there. Too bad they're really expensive...

Aren't a lot of DHS blades copies of the OC? like the HK, HH, H-WN, H-TP, H-GY Pg2 Pg3 etc etc

Nah, the only thing they have in common is they are 5 ply. Differing top ply, 2nd ply (most important change!) and cores.

Obviously some have similar construction, but thats unavoidable.

Others, for example the HWH (not the HH) is far closer to a korbel than an OC.
