Is it okay to use it? Should i remove the rubber from the bat and do it all over again? |

if it is water-based glue: you are meant to wait until it has dried (gone clear). You can test if it has stuck by gently seeing if you can lift a corner with your finger - but if it wasn't close to dry, and it is water-based, I would redo it |

bounce a ball on it: if some areas appear less bouncy than others, or "soggy", redo. If the bounce is even throughout, I would just play with it! |

It's normally recommended that you let it dry completely. The reason is that you want the water in the glue to evaporate into the air, not soak into the wood of the blade. Putting the rubber onto the blade while the glue it still wet traps the water, and the only place it can go is into the wood. Water ruins blades as the wood soaks up the water making it swell... which can cause it to change properties, make it uneven, delaminate, etc. A little bit of moisture is unlikely to do much harm, but a lot of water or repeated exposure will ruin the blade. |

If its just a little bit of it Its okay right? Its like very very little bit of it left I just have to be careful and make sure the glue is dry next time right? |

Vitou, did you intend this to be an ongoing blog? It doesn't appear so to me. If it isn't I will move it to the general equipment section. If you want to blog about your glue jobs...I'll leave it here |
