good practice with match bat-played two players who always give me problems and have very good averages.c/h and b/t
i know what not to do with these 2 if you get my drift-lost to them both but had great games .bat blocked very well as usual.
played m and beat him without a problem - he overhit a lot(poss due to my setup and the anti)i have not played him with this set up before.
bat 1 -grubba pro(all -)(used in matches)
bat 3-grubba all plus-neo/ waran 2mm-tried briefly and nice with certain players, but too fast when under the cosh.
bat 2-x star all blade(old model)-pretty dead but amazing control

Keen to know how you go with the Joola Toni Hold White Spot. I am very keen to give this blade a go myself at some point soon. :)

i have done very well with the grubba pro.
i have fixed the exact rubbers on the white spot and will try it tomorrow.
i use anti so the white spot should be great

Great  I will be trying it with OX pips on (BH) and inverted on (FH). So am looking forward to some positive feedback as I tend to prefer slower and softer blades.

comparison between my usual match blade(grubba pro-all minus)& toni hold white spot.
please note that this is the new model of the white spot.
the white spot is not the same as the JOOLA Toni Hold blade(cottonwood)
both blades had the same rubbers-b/h juic neo anti in 2mm.f/h tsp l catcher s/p in 1.8.
you have huge control with these rubbers .
I was very suprised at the speed of the white spot and found that it was not slow at all.it was almost like playing with a grubba all plus blade.i played a very unorthodox aggressive player who has a decent serve.i tried to take his serves off the bounce and a lot popped up high and were killed.i then started to take a step back and play a chopping game with the anti.this was ok but not as good as the grubba pro( pro blade has a nice flex when chopping)the b/h absorbed some hard shots well and the f/h was also good at blocking due to the wood.i got the impression that the white spot was more for just standing your ground and blocking shots.when pushed back there was still plenty power but the chopping didnt seem as good as the pro.i found that i could do a decent controlled loop with this blade.the handle is short and i much prefer the thin handle of the pro.the grubba pro works well close to the table and also when pushed back.its a very good chopping and looping blade with some flex.i have cut the headsize down on this blade.the pro can block some rockets on the b/h(when using anti)and this is exactly what i need.i only played with the white spot for about 15 mins but will test again on thursday.ive a match tonight so i didnt want to confuse myself too much.
all in all the white spot is a very good blade for absorbing shots and imho is not as slow as people say.
i am a little biased at the moment as i love the grubba pro.
i will report more later and add it to this POST.

Surprised to learn about its speed :o despite being marketed as one of the slowest blades. I wait to hear further about it and thanks once again for your initial feedback. Much appreciated
