How do you return a short service which isn't long enough to chop back and has little pace?

Usually push with the anti.I get more effect from the anti when i chop. Its more difficult for the opponent to hit through the ball.
i played a guy the other day-i blocked his serves and the ball lifted so he killed it.i then chopped it and he couldnt do it.i sometimes just roll the ball/flick when someone does the old tomahawk serve.

very satisfied with setup and playing well.2 matches next week.
will be doing something crazy tonight.
trying grass dtecs in ox on a dr n kung fu.
f/h is best anti.
will twiddle a lot.
dying to try but it will be binned no doubt.
A word on twiddling-in my case it can be done in chopping rallies.it sometimes causes confusion with certain players.
if it doesnt cause problems dont twiddle at all.

tried d tecs ox on the defplay-anti on f/h
really liked this combo.f/h anti play needs some work though.
flipping is a dream and combo causes problems.
viewtopic.php?f=62&t=18061
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=7267
i started playing in may 2015 and im now playing in 2 first divisions.
average is 37% in s league
33% in d league(i have not played many matches and have played the top teams)if i had played every match in this league i think i would be about 45%.
to improve my averages i think i need more deception.f/h is ok but when you play the best you might aswell put it in the bin and defend.
i am looking forward to trying this strange combo...

Got myself a sheet of Nittaku Best Anti to mess with (will put on Defplay). Anything special I need to know in terms of how to care for it?

good article re cleaning anti by kees-i clean mine but have ran out of cloths-wife forgets to buy em lol :headbang:
what thickness did you go for mate
ps -its good for blocking off the bounce but causes more problems when you take a step back and chop.1.8 is perfect.
you can also chop on the f/h with it and loop if high on f/h-(difficult but nasty)
you can also hit with it(slow)on the b/h.
very good players have no probs hence the double darkside move

Is Nittaku Best Anti somewhat fast? Because the Defplay is so slow and flexy, I find it hard to imagine anti on there with enough pace.

1-re flexy defplay-i cut it down to stop it flexing as much.i had the same problem with the grubba pro blades so cut them down.i dont like the flex as sometimes the blade would flex at the wrong time and the ball would be out of control.
2-i have tried several blades with anti(several all blades, grubba, stiga etc and white spot, kung fu..i have tried yasaka anti power, butterfly s/a and juic neo.
i settled on NBA as its perfect for blocking close to the table and chopping.the defplay is a perfect match as the other blades were a little too fast when blocking close to the table with the anti.
its personal choice but so far i find the defplay and nba perfect.
this match also fits with my unorthodox style.i have never had coaching so all of my shots are home made so to speak.i am wanting low throw angles on both wings and i have it with this match.as mentioned in my blog the best players blow you away, hence the 2nd bat scenario(work in progress)(thats the bat you gave me  )
